After an amazing trip up north to photograph Marty & Elissa’s wedding up in Armidale, I had to be back in Sydney on the Sunday for a Masters of Light Workshop run by Gordon Jovic.
I love workshops, it’s an opportunity to learn to and expand your skills and also a chance to shoot for yourself. I did the workshop with my buddy Lisa, we had a great time walking around the streets of Sydney shooting side by side with Gordon.
Thank you Gordon for the fabulous workshop and a huge thanks to our models Cindy, Ava & Brad, they braved the freezing cold so we could all get some fabulous shots. You guys rock!

Last week I got to catch up with the lovely Justin & Karen. We photographed their wedding a couple of years ago. I was visiting their place to photograph a new addition to their family.

This year I decided the enter the WPPI 16X20 International Print Comp with two prints that I love and have previously done well.
I had to pack up my prints and send them over to Las Vegas where the live judging is held during the annual WPPI convention.
The judging was back in February but unfortunately if you are not attending you have to wait until your receive your prints back until you find out how you went.
It wasn’t until a couple of weeks ago that I received my print case back. I rushed down to the post office to pick it up and resisted temptation to open the case right then and there.
When I got home I was so thrilled to see that I received an Accolade of Excellence for my fabulous Jetty shot of Sarah & Nic, and my other print scored a 78 just missing out.
This now sits proudly in the studio for all to see.
